As Chief Administrative Officer of Brody | Gapp LLP, Shawna Kazanow ensures that every aspect of the firm’s operations—from staffing to technology to compliance infrastructure—supports the fast, high-quality legal service our clients rely on. With over 20 years of experience managing operations in law, financial services, and global nonprofits, she brings a practical understanding of how to build systems that allow attorneys to focus on what matters most: client results.

Shawna plays a central role in optimizing workflows, overseeing firm-wide compliance functions, and driving strategic growth initiatives that translate into smoother service delivery and consistent responsiveness for our clients. Prior to joining Brody | Gapp, she led HR, finance, and operations at a national law firm and held senior roles at BNY Mellon, Rotary International, and the American Heart Association.

Her ability to scale operations, strengthen controls, and align teams with business objectives directly enhances our ability to meet complex client needs efficiently and effectively. Shawna holds a B.A. in Economics from Evergreen State College and remains active in civic leadership through Rotary International.
